ConstructionOnline™ has introduced several enhancements to the OnPlan Schedule Export for Excel, giving construction teams greater control over how schedule data is filtered, organized, and shared outside the platform.Designed to streamline reporting workflows and reduce manual setup, the updated export experience now automatically reflects many of the scheduling preferences and filters already in use within the platform.
To help save time and improve consistency, the Schedule Export for Excel now pre-populates with any filters currently applied within the Scheduling feature at the time of export.
Rather than recreating filter criteria each time a schedule is exported, teams can generate reports that more closely reflect the information they are actively reviewing—helping reduce repetitive setup and ensuring exported data remains aligned with project needs.
The updated export also introduces a broader range of filtering options, allowing teams to refine exported schedule data based on criteria such as:
Resources
Status
Trade
Priority
Task Type
Tags
Key Roles
Completion Status
Date Ranges
In addition, column visibility now defaults to each user's saved Schedule List View settings, creating a more personalized export experience. Teams can choose whether to include detailed scheduling fields such as baseline dates, projected labor hours, cost codes, task notes, field notes, subcontractor notes, and other project-specific information.
Together, these enhancements provide greater flexibility when creating schedule reports for internal planning, field coordination, stakeholder communication, and project documentation.
The Schedule Export for Excel has also been updated with a revised layout that improves readability and presentation.
Schedule and Baseline information now stacks vertically within the export, creating additional horizontal space for project and schedule details. This adjustment helps ensure critical schedule information remains easier to read and review, particularly on larger or more complex projects.
These enhancements continue ConstructionOnline's ongoing investment in helping construction professionals manage and communicate project schedules more effectively. By expanding filtering capabilities, improving export customization, and refining report presentation, ConstructionOnline gives teams more control over how schedule information is captured, shared, and utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
