ConstructionOnline continues to enhance its powerful new Bid Tracking feature with additional tools designed to help construction teams organize bidding activity, reduce manual work, and move from bid review to project collaboration more efficiently.
The latest Bid Tracking updates introduce new capabilities that improve how users categorize bid records, manage multiple bids at once, analyze bid data, and transition winning bidders into active project participants within ConstructionOnline.
Originally introduced in January of this year, ConstructionOnline's Bid Tracking provides a centralized environment for managing the entire bidding lifecycle—from creating bid packages and inviting subcontractors to reviewing submissions and awarding work.
Recent updates build on that foundation by making day-to-day bid management even faster and more streamlined.
ConstructionOnline now allows users to categorize bid records using customizable Tags, making it easier to keep bidding activity organized across projects and opportunities.
Tags can be applied to bid records and used as filters, helping teams quickly locate specific bids or group related bidding activity. Whether organizing bids by trade, project phase, or internal workflow status, Tags provide an added layer of structure for companies managing multiple bid packages at the same time.
Managing large volumes of bid records often requires repetitive updates. To streamline this process, Bid Tracking now includes Multi-Select and Bulk Edit capabilities.
Users can select multiple bid records simultaneously and apply updates across them in a single action—eliminating the need to open and edit entries one at a time. This enhancement helps teams maintain accurate records while significantly reducing administrative effort and improving team efficiency during busy bidding cycles.
For teams that need to perform additional analysis or share information outside the platform, Bid Tracking now supports the exporting of bid records directly to Excel.
With the new Excel Export option, users can quickly generate spreadsheets containing bid data for reporting, external review, or internal analysis—providing greater flexibility for evaluating bids and tracking performance across vendors and subcontractors.
Another key enhancement allows users to easily convert a winning Bidder directly into a TeamLink User—with just a click of the mouse.
This capability eliminates the need to manually re-enter contact information after a bid is awarded. Instead, teams can seamlessly transition subcontractors or vendors into the project team, allowing them immediate access to the TeamLink Portal, help them begin participating in project collaboration with ease and expediency.
These enhancements reflect ConstructionOnline’s ongoing commitment to improving real-world workflows for builders and construction teams. By expanding the capabilities of Bid Tracking, ConstructionOnline continues to deliver tools that help companies manage bids more efficiently, make informed award decisions, and maintain organized project records.
