ConstructionOnline Introduces Time Shift Limits for Enhanced Time Tracking Oversight

UDA Technologies is excited to announce a powerful enhancement to Time Tracking in ConstructionOnline™—the introduction of Time Shift Limits, giving Admin Users greater control over daily work hours recorded by project team members.

With the new Time Shift Limits, Company Admins can now define the maximum number of hours allowed per day for individual time shifts. This setting provides the flexibility construction companies need to enforce labor policies, maintain compliance, and ensure accurate payroll and job costing—all within ConstructionOnline’s integrated project management environment.

Key Features of Time Shift Limits:

• Enable Max Hour Limits: Admins can activate new settings that place daily limits on recorded time shifts.
• Define Maximum Hours Per Day: Admins can specify the total number of hours allowed for a shift—calculated as regular hours plus any paid breaks or paid lunches.
• Customizable Enforcement Options: When a user exceeds the allowed time, Admins can choose to:
  • Display in-app warnings
  • Send push notifications
  • Email Admins and users a summary of all shift details and total hours worked

Additionally, Admins can decide whether to prevent new shifts once the daily limit has been exceeded. If shift creation is blocked, users will be notified and given options:

• If already clocked in, a toast notification will alert them they’ve exceeded the daily max.
• If clocking out after exceeding the limit, they’ll receive a prompt to either clock out or cancel.

Alternatively, if shift creation is still allowed after reaching the limit, users will receive a warning and be prompted to either clock out or continue their shift.
