ConstructionOnline's power, speed, and vision are made possible by UDA's ongoing dedication to resolving client requests, enhancing existing features, and introducing innovative new tools. This cycle's publish includes the following updates:
INVOICING
- Exciting new functionality added, allowing users to create construction invoices from Bills and Expenses for a more flexible billing workflow.
- A new field for Billable Status has been added to line items on Bills, Expenses, and Receipts.
- To be included in an invoice, a Line Item must be marked as billable.
- The ability to include multiple Bills, Expenses, and Receipts in a single invoice offers greater efficiency in managing project financials.
- Billable items can either be aggregated into a single line on the invoice or kept separate as individual table sections if linked to the same Estimate, Client Selection, or Change Order items.
- Bills and Expenses can be selected at the same time and included in the same invoice, streamlining workflows and simplifying financial documentation.
- Access to expanded invoicing functionality is available for accounts with subscriptions that include OnCost™ Purchasing—which provides access to Purchase Orders, Bills, Expenses, Receipts, and Payments.
- All Company Users must have the following permissions at minimum to be able to create invoices from Bills, Expenses, and/or Receipts:
- Invoicing: "Can Create, Edit, & Delete"
- Purchase Orders, Bills, and Payments: "Can Create & Edit"
- Expenses & Receipts: "Can Create & Edit"
CHANGE ORDERS
- Change Orders load correctly in all expected instances.
ONCOST™ ESTIMATING
- Company Overhead & Margin (COM) updated to prevent the total percentage applied from reaching or exceeding 100%.
- If an attempted edit would exceed this limit, a notification will appear, and the change will not be applied—ensuring estimates remain accurate and precise.
MESSAGES
- Sharing Reports via ConstructionOnline Messaging from the Edit Report (TXEditor) window executes successfully in all expected instances, enabling efficient distribution of project data and seamless collaboration with project teams.
OPPORTUNITIES
- Two new date fields have been added to Opportunities for improved tracking:
- Last Contact
- Next Callback
- These fields populate blank by default and can be manually updated from the "Opportunities" List or the "Opportunity Details" tab within the "Opportunity Details" window.
- Both new date fields are now included in the Opportunities Excel Export and the Opportunity Summary Report.
- Users can now sort by these fields, making it easier to prioritize activity related to the Opportunity Pipeline.
TIME TRACKING
- The Project Filter for the Employee and Company Time Summary Excel Exports works as intended.
- Exported files include only time shifts from the selected project.
- If no project is selected, all projects will be included in the export.
