ConstructionOnline™ continues to evolve through ongoing enhancements that improve visibility, streamline everyday workflows, and strengthen reliability across the platform. This week's release introduces expanded OnPoint™ Proposal customization, enhanced Company History activity tracking, and targeted improvements across To Dos, Redline™ Planroom, Warranty Tracking, and more.
COMPANY REPORTING
OnPoint™ Proposal controls have been expanded to provide greater flexibility when presenting tax and markup information across proposal layouts, giving construction professionals more control over how project pricing is communicated.
New Proposal Controls Include:
- Category-Only Support: Detailed OnPoint Proposals now support including Tax and Markup when generating proposals at the Category Only detail level.
- Smarter Configuration Options: Tax and Markup controls automatically adjust based on the selected proposal detail level, presenting only the options applicable to that report configuration.
- Improved Proposal Guidance: Helpful descriptions are now available within proposal settings to explain how Tax and Markup selections affect proposal totals.
- Preset Compatibility: Proposal presets now automatically apply the appropriate Tax and Markup settings for a more streamlined reporting workflow.
- Consistent Grand Totals: Tax and Markup values are now accurately reflected across supported proposal layouts, including proposals generated without the Estimate table.
COMPANY HISTORY
Events recorded in the Company History Log have been expanded to provide greater visibility into user account activity.
Activity Tracking Enhancements Include:
- User login activity is now recorded within the Company History Log.
- A new User Access filter makes login activity easy to review and filter.
- Login history is available to all Company Users through the Company History Log.
- Only true login events are recorded, preventing duplicate entries during normal browser activity.
- ClientLink™ and TeamLink™ user logins remain excluded from Company History tracking.
TO DOS
- Reliable To Do Editing: Streamlined system logic applied when editing existing To Dos, ensuring a a clean, actionable task list is consistently maintained.
WARRANTY TRACKING
- Warranty Template Creation: Existing Warranty records can now be used to create Warranty Templates, making it easier to standardize recurring warranty workflows.
REDLINE™ PLANROOM
- Accurate Markup Printing: Markup now prints in the correct location on rotated Redline Sheets, ensuring dependable plan output regardless of sheet orientation.
CONTACT MANAGEMENT
- Expanded Contact Management: Non-Admin Company Users can now update the Private Contact Details of ClientLink, TeamLink, and Basic/Additional Users.
ONCOST™ ESTIMATING
- Improved Estimate Guidance: When adding Categories or Subcategories while empty sections are hidden, ConstructionOnline now alerts users that the new section will remain hidden until empty sections are displayed.
CLIENT SELECTIONS
- Reliable Selection Imports: Selection imports from Excel now preserve both the selected markup type and markup amount, supporting more accurate financial setup.
ACCOUNT SETTINGS
- Consistent Default Report Content: Default Text Boxes now display reliably across supported reports.
