Driving innovation in construction management, UDA consistently delivers updates, enhancements, and new features to ConstructionOnline. This week's updates include significant expansions to Bid Tracking, along with targeted reliability improvements to Time Tracking, Change Orders, GamePlan™ Task Lists, Redline™ Planroom, and more. 

BID TRACKING

ConstructionOnline’s Bid Tracking continues to expand with several new enhancements designed to improve bid organization, collaboration, and workflow efficiency:

  • Purchase Orders Tab: A new Purchase Orders Tab has been added to the Bid Recipient Blade, providing direct access to associated Purchase Orders. 
  • Additional Comments Indicator: Bid Sheet Cards now feature a Comment icon, improving visibility of Comments on Bid Sheets and streamlining access to discussion threads for faster collaboration.
  • Bid Sheet Print Report: Users can now generate and print a Bid Sheet Print Report directly from Bid Sheets. 
  • Redline Sheet Downloads: Sheets attached to Bid Packages can now be downloaded, allowing teams to access and distribute plans associated with bids with greater ease. 
  • Individual URLs have been introduced for each Bid Tracking subfeature (i.e. Bid Packages, Bid Package Sheets, Bid Package Files, et al.) helping users return to the same location in the platform after a page refresh. 
  • Bid Sheet Line Item Details: Bid Sheets now support Line Item Attachments and Descriptions, offering more detailed documentation for construction project teams . 
  • Bid Award Indicator: The Bid Entry Page now displays an indicator when another bid has been awarded, providing immediate visibility into bid status for all involved parties.

CHANGE ORDERS

  • The Change Order Contract Report has been updated to restore the QuantityUnitand Unit Cost columns, ensuring complete line item data is consistently available in printed and exported reports. 

  • Change Order Notification Emails now consistently display the correct client price across all scenarios, supporting accurate and professional client communication. 

CHECKLISTS & PUNCH LISTS

  • Folder Duplication across projects now includes the full folder structure and all associated contents when duplicated into a different projects. 

DAILY LOGGING

  • Cannot View Permissions are now consistently enforced within the Project Overview, ensuring that access restrictions are consistently applied for users without view rights to Daily Logs. 

GAMEPLAN

  • GamePlan Email Notifications have been refined to ensure Task Lists are reliably delivered to all designated recipients, supporting clear team communication and accountability. 

PAYMENT APPLICATIONS

  • The Payment Application Excel Export now correctly renders text block content properly, preventing data from wrapping and/or overflowing beyond cell boundaries.  

REDLINE™ 

  • Rotated Sheets now display and print with the correct orientation, whether printed individually or within a report. 

  • The Current Set Table now orders and sorts sheets based on data from the most recent sheet revision, rather than the original version. 

TIME TRACKING

  • Time Tracking Exports now calculate Overtime Hours accurately for dependable payroll and reporting.

  • The Company Totals Export now includes the Cost Codes assigned to the Time Shifts within the report. 

TO DOs

  • Resource Filters now return results for resources assigned to Subtasks, ensuring that filtered views include all relevant work items, regardless of task hierarchy. 

MISC

  • File Visibility for TeamLink™ Users now strictly reflects assigned permissions, ensuring users only see Files they have explicit permission to access within the Portal. 

  • Project Color preferences now save consistently whenever a new Project Color is chosen.

  • Additional security refinements continue to strengthen protection of user accounts and project data across the ConstructionOnline platform.
