Recent Updates Enhance Schedule Task Visibility in ConstructionOnline™

Written by UDA Corporate Newsroom | October 6, 2026

ConstructionOnline has introduced new enhancements to OnPlan™ Scheduling that improve Cost Code tracking and task dependency management.

Cost Code Visibility in Scheduling

Cost Codes are now available as both a filter option and column within the Scheduling table, making it easier for teams to organize and review schedule activity by cost structure.

For companies that manage schedules alongside budgets, estimates, and job costing workflows, Cost Codes tie the project timeline to its financial structure. Teams can filter schedule tasks by related cost information, review work tied to specific cost categories, and see how schedule activity aligns with the project budget.

Improved Dependency Tracking with Successors

ConstructionOnline has also added a new Successor column to the Scheduling table.

The Successor column shows which tasks depend on the current task as a predecessor, giving teams a clearer view of downstream relationships. Without leaving the table, users can see how one schedule activity may impact another, making task dependencies easier to review and connected work easier to coordinate.

A More Connected Approach to Schedule Management

For construction teams, a project schedule reflects how work is sequenced, which tasks depend on others, and how the plan connects to the budget. These enhancements bring that context into the same table where schedule activity is already reviewed, so cost structure and task relationships sit alongside the timeline in one place.

With Cost Code and Successor information available for each task, OnPlan Scheduling gives teams a fuller picture of their projects and a more confident way to plan, coordinate, and keep work moving.
