Updated Options for Construction Time Tracking Reports & Exports

The ConstructionOnline™ Team recently announced a series of key updates for Time Tracking Reports and Exports, designed to give construction pros more control, flexibility, and clarity when reviewing logged hours across active projects. 

Time Tracking Reports & Time Tracking Exports now offer expanded grouping and display options, allowing users to organize time entries by —

• Date
• Project
• Employee
• Cost Code

With new secondary grouping controls, users can group time entries by a primary factor and then, create subgroups of data by applying additional categorizations for more tailored report output. For example, entries can be grouped by project and then sub-grouped by employee, or grouped by employee and sub-grouped by cost code, providing deeper insight into how time is distributed across teams, jobs, and cost categories.

Additionally, Time Tracking Reports now offer options for:

1. Detailed Shift Information: Related Name, Cost Code, Date, Time In, Time Out, and Duration

2. Summarized Shift Information: Related Name, Cost Code, Date, Standard Hours, Overtime Hours, and Total Hours. 

Time Tracking Exports have been updated to offer a new options for configuring and customizing data exports:

• Order By - Determines how data is sorted in the exported file
  • Date
  • Project
  • Employee
  • Cost Code
• Include Admin Notes - Allows for notes on time entries to be exported with time entry data.

These enhancements to Time Tracking Reports and Exports in ConstructionOnline deliver greater visibility and customization for construction professionals—helping teams accurately analyze time data, optimize labor costs, and improve project oversight.
