INVOICING
ConstructionOnline's Invoicing now includes advanced Retainage options, empowering users to define, calculate, and invoice for withheld amounts—ensuring accurate billing and full transparency into retained and paid funds.
- Retainage Types - Define how retained amounts are calculated:
- % Percent: Retainage is calculated as a percentage of the current Invoice amount
- $ Flat Dollar: Retainage is set to a fixed dollar amount
- Functionality Highlights - Seamlessly manage Invoicing and reporting:
- Total invoiced amounts now excludes prorated Retainage, ensuring accurate data across reports, estimates, QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration, and other financial tools.
- Retainage can be invoiced independently or as part of running totals for full billing flexibility.
- The Invoice Dashboard now displays Running Retainage alongside Paid amounts, offering immediate insight into retained and collected funds.
- Invoice Details now include a dedicated line for Retainage alongside Invoice Total, Paid to Date, and Outstanding balances.
- Access & Permissions
- Retainage is available for all companies with active ConstructionOnline Business subscriptions.
- To access and utilize this tool, Company Users must have "Can Create, Edit, and Delete" permissions for Invoicing.

- Comments added to Project content from ClientLink and TeamLink portals cannot be broadcast to other ClientLink or TeamLink team members, preserving clear communication boundaries and appropriate information control.
ONPLAN™ SCHEDULING
- Task Groups with subgroups retain their correct order when reordered, delivering a smoother, more organized scheduling workflow.
CLIENT SELECTIONS
- Selections are further optimized for larger datasets, providing faster access to choice information and a more responsive experience when managing extensive selection libraries.

- Image Files in "My Files" now open reliably in the preview modal when double-clicked, providing a consistent and predictable image-viewing experience across the platform.
PROJECT HEALTH
- Estimate value calculations in Project Health are now optimized, improving load speed of Project Scorecards for faster access to project performance metrics.
CHANGE ORDERS
- Multi-line Change Order line item names account for longer text strings to prevent rows from overlapping—creating a cleaner, more organized table display for improved readability.
- View-Only permissions now display Change Order Details appropriately, reserving proper access controls and ensuring table alignment appears as intended.
