An update was released for Socket™, UDA’s innovative Windows desktop helper app for ConstructionOnline™ which enables powerful integration between ConstructionOnline and desktop programs like QuickBooks and PlanSwift.

Updates included in Version 1.0.45: 

• QuickBooks Batch Operations:
  • Added primary access to QuickBooks Batch Import options to the left sidebar in Socket, above Favorite Projects and My Projects
  • Adjusted Batch Import scheduling algorithm
  • Updated Batch configuration modal to a more user-friendly, full-screen grid view
  • Included a new option to singularly select “All Active Projects” within Batch configuration
  • Expanded filter options available within Project Selector to include 7 fields from Project Details -
    • Type
    • Group
    • Office
    • Division
    • Stage
    • Category
    • Region
  • Added a count of  “Selected Projects” to Project Selector within Batch configuration
  • Updated Project Selector to strikethrough the names of Projects already included in any other scheduled Batch Imports
  • Improved user visibility regarding ongoing Batch activity with the addition of a new “Processing Batch” screen when any Batch Import is actively processing
    • Includes an option for canceling the Batch operation and restarting in 1 hour
  • Removed limit on number of Projects that can be included in a single Batch operation. Previously, the limit was 25 Projects per Batch.
    • An automatic message is presented when the number of Project selected by the user for inclusion in the Batch operation reaches 50 or more.
  • Introduced new Batch Notification Options, allowing users to enable an email notification with Batch results to be sent upon completion of any scheduled Batch operation
• QuickBooks Credit Memos:
  
  • Updated the creation of QuickBooks Credit Memos to account for specific instances, including - 
    • When items have $0 markup
    • When items have 0 quantity
    • When Detailed Item Names are not utilized
• Applications for Payment:
  
  • Updated system logic applied during creation of Applications for Payment to - 
    
    • Include $0 Estimate Line Items that are linked to Change Orders
    • Prevent multiple inclusions of singular Credit Memos
    • Eliminate case sensitivity when matching Item Names in QuickBooks
      
• Additional Updates:
  
  • Updated styling of the left sidebar navigation to ensure alignment following the addition of the new menu option for QuickBooks Batch Imports
  • Improved Project Selection performance and overall loading performance
  • Adjusted system logic to ensure Client Information is updated upon Project Selection
  • Modified data collection regarding external IP Addresses to improve service reliability
  • Updated Error and Event Logging
  • Updated data creation in QuickBooks
    • Customer Phone Number limited to first 15 characters
    • QuickBooks Billing Address = Client’s Address
    • QuickBooks Shipping Address = Project Address
