ConstructionOnline continues to expand its Bid Tracking capabilities with the release of a powerful new feature: line-by-line comparisons for Bid Packages. Designed to bring greater clarity and control to the bid review process, this update allows construction teams to evaluate bids in a more detailed and efficient way.
With the new Compare command available directly within the Bid Sheet column, users can quickly access a side-by-side comparison view of submitted bids. Each comparison is dynamically linked, with URLs updating to reflect the selected bid package and sheet for easy navigation and sharing.
The Detailed Comparison view organizes bidders alphabetically and automatically excludes those marked as “Will Not Bid,” helping teams focus only on relevant participants. As bid data evolves, the comparison updates in real time—whether bids are edited, new bidders are added, or awards are made or removed.
Additional updates ensure that changes to bidder intent and participation are immediately reflected, giving teams an always-current view of their bid landscape.
Together, these enhancements make it easier than ever for construction professionals to analyze, compare, and confidently select the right bids for their projects.
