The ConstructionOnline Team is excited to announce the latest enhancement to ConstructionOnline, the industry’s leading construction project management software—Autodoc™ Fields are now available for Default Text Blocks. This powerful update further streamlines the creation of professional, accurate documentation by allowing construction teams to dynamically populate reusable text content with key project and contact details.This new functionality mirrors the successful implementation of Custom Autodoc Fields previously introduced in ConstructionOnline’s Permit Tracking, Insurance & Certificates, and Requests for Information (RFIs). With this latest release, users can now take advantage of similar dynamic text capabilities when managing Default Text Blocks, dramatically improving the efficiency and personalization of ConstructionOnline contracts, documents, and reports.

Default Text Blocks—first introduced in 2020 as a flexible tool for customizing standard contract and proposal templates—are now more powerful than ever. By embedding Autodoc Fields within Default Text Blocks, users ensure that each block of text automatically reflects the correct project- or contact-specific information whenever it’s included in ConstructionOnline-generated reports.
