ConstructionOnline Publish Notes for the Week of August 16, 2021

UDA Technologies continues to invest in the growth and stability of ConstructionOnline™ with regular updates & new enhancements, including -

COMPANY COSTBOOKS

Users can now create Company Costbooks from Project Estimates & Estimate Templates in ConstructionOnline™
- If the selected Estimate is for a Project, then the Project's currency is assigned to the Costbook.
- If the selected Estimate is an Estimate Template, then the current user's currency is assigned to the Costbook.
- The Coverage Rate for Costbook Items is set to 1 to 1.
- The Purchase Unit for Costbook Items is set to Each.
- Costbooks can be created from Estimates using commands located in the Company Costbook feature menu or those located on the Estimate right sidebar details pane.
- If the selected Estimate is a Standard, 2-Level Estimate, the Categories are created as Costbook Folders, and the Subcategories are created as Costbook Sub-Folders.
- If the selected Estimate is a Standard, 3-Level Estimate, the Categories are created as Folders, the Subcategories are created as Sub-Folders, and the Items are created as Costbook Items.
- If the selected Estimate is a 5-Column, 2-Level Estimate, the Categories are created as Costbook Folders, and the Costbook Items are created for each of the Classification Costs with estimate values. To prevent naming conflicts, the Classification Name is added to the end of the Item Name.
- If the selected Estimate is a 5-Column, 3-Level Estimate, the Categories are created as Folders, and the Subcategories are created as Sub-Folders. Costbook Items are created for each of the Classification Costs with estimate values, and the Classification Name is added to the end of the Item Name to prevent naming conflicts.

CHECKLISTS

Multi-select function has been added for Checklists.

PUNCH LISTS

Multi-select function has been added for Punch Lists.

CONTACTS

Optimized system behavior regarding the Website field of Contact Details
- Website format is not modified if starting with "http://" or "https://"
- Website format is modified to include "http://" at the beginning of the URL if not initially included.

FILES

Added support for .MOV files in the full-screen Image Preview modal. .MOV files will now option to play both video & audio.

CLIENTLINK/TEAMLINK PORTAL

The Change Order QuickLink on the Financial Overview now displays the total of all Client Prices for approved Change Orders accounting for the inclusion of taxes in all instances.

PROJECT TEMPLATES

Streamlined creation of New Projects from Project Templates when the creation of the New Project is triggered from the right sidebar of Company Project Templates list.
