ConstructionOnline Publish Report for the Week of August 24, 2026

ConstructionOnline™ continues to expand flexibility, organization, and collaboration across the platform with targeted enhancements to OnCost™ Purchasing, Redline™ Planroom, OnGuard™ Permit Tracking, and more.

PURCHASING

Comments are now available across additional Purchasing records, extending centralized communication to:

• Bills
• Expenses & Receipts
• Payments

This expansion makes it easier for teams to keep financial discussions and supporting context connected directly to the related Purchasing records.

Additional updates to OnCost Purchasing this week include—

• Flexible Bill Details: Users can now customize the Bill Date and Reference Number when sending Bills to QuickBooks Online.
• Consistent Date & Time Records: Dates and times associated with Purchasing records are now consistently stored in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) across all data instances. Users' Time & Date Settings are then applied to convert and display this information within user accounts.

TAGS

Tags are now available across even more areas of ConstructionOnline, giving construction teams additional ways to organize, filter, and manage project information.

Tags can now be applied to:

• Client Selections
• OnCost Estimating
• Invoicing

Tag deletion workflows have also been improved to ensure that deleted Tags and all associated references are consistently cleared across the platform.

REDLINE PLANROOM

• Shared Markup Layers: Redline Layers can now be shared between Plan Sheets, allowing users to apply an existing markup layer across multiple pages without recreating the same information.
• Reliable Bid Tracking Downloads: Download links included in Redline Plan Set emails sent through Bid Tracking now provide consistent access to associated project plans.

CERTIFICATE TRACKING

• Excel Imports: Certificate Tracking now supports Excel file imports, providing a faster way to bring existing certificate records into ConstructionOnline.

PERMIT TRACKING

• Excel Imports: Permit Tracking now supports Excel file imports, streamlining the process of bringing existing permit documentation into ConstructionOnline.

TO DOS

• Dependable Excel Exports: Excel exports of To Dos have been improved to ensure error-free access to task data downloaded from ConstructionOnline.

FILES & PHOTOS

• New Widget Filters: File and Photo widgets now include additional filter options for more focused access to project documentation.
• Improved Photostream Performance: Photostream views across the platform now support faster loading across larger datasets for a smoother browsing experience.
• More Reliable File Access: Enhanced system safeguards ensure continuous access to shared project files and folders, even in instances of missing, modified, or incomplete QR Code data. 

CONTACTS

• Expanded Insurance & Certificate Visibility: Insurance and Certificate information is now available directly from within the Contact Details modal, making related compliance information easier to access directly alongside associated contact records.
