ConstructionOnline Publish Report for the Week of January 6, 2025

ConstructionOnline’s power, speed, and vision are made possible by UDA’s dedication to resolving client requests, enhancing existing features routinely, and introducing new tools often. This cycle’s publish includes - 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Revised the workflow triggered when the option to “Resend” an Announcement is initiated:  
  • Announcement wizard now immediately launches the Contact Selector Menu, where the user can choose which Contacts should receive email notifications about the Announcement. 
  • Confirmed that Contacts’ Profile Pictures consistently load when the Contact Selector Menu is launched.

LEAD TRACKING

• Updated “Lead Quality” field to allow users the ability to reset the field to 0 stars at any time.
• Confirmed that any Date Filters applied to the Lead table are consistently applied to Excel Exports generated from the filtered Lead view

CONTACTS

• Within Contact Details, users can select the gear icon paired with the “Job Title” field to customize the Company Field. From the “Job Title” Settings Menu, users are able to add, edit, remove, and organize the dropdown options available within the field selector.
  • The “Job Title” field can also be accessed under ConstructionOnline’s Companies within any individual Company Contact’s Details modal.

INBOUND EMAILS

• Verified that the application of the “Date Received” field consistently and accurately filters Inbound Emails. 

PROJECT TEAMS

• Project Team Contacts consistently and accurately populate in the following scenarios:
  • When a Project is created from a Project Template
  • When a Project Template is created from a Project. 
• Implemented strategic updates to system logic to optimize speed and performance of Project Team views.
• Adding a ClientLink Team Member to the TeamLink Team will consistently and immediately reassign the contact as a TeamLink user for that specific project.
• Adding a TeamLink Team Member to the ClientLink Team will consistently and immediately reassign the contact as a ClientLink user for that specific project.

TO DOS

• Subtasks for To Dos now populate to the Company Overview for To Dos and are included in the displayed item counts.

CHANGE ORDERS

• Confirmed that notifications for Approved Change Orders send consistently in all expected instances. 
• Updated display for Multi-Line Change Orders to support the inclusion of more characters in Line Item Names.
• Choosing to link Change Order Line Items to an Estimate Subcategory via the “Edit Change Order” menu does not impact the Change Order’s Approval Status. 
  • Users will not be prompted to revert an Approved Change Order to Pending when completing this action. 
  • Users are prompted to revert an Approved Change Order to Pending when edits are made that impact the Cost and/or Price of the Change Order.

INVOICING

• Reviewed settings to ensure that filters are available for application on the Company Overview for the Invoicing feature. 

ACCOUNTING INTEGRATION

• To align with recent rate limits applied by Intuit to integrated services, import actions may now only reference a single type of transaction - Committed Costs, Actuals, or Invoiced Amounts.  ConstructionOnline Company Users will need to trigger individual import actions for each different transaction type.
  • By regulating data imports in this manner, ConstructionOnline prevents users from exceeding Intuit’s rate limits and encountering import errors, ensuring that data is successfully imported from QuickBooks Online.

COMPANY REPORTING

• Optimized branding setup to ensure that Company Logos with larger aspect ratios are consistently and accurately scaled on Company Reports.
• Choosing the option to “Share” in the Report Editor consistently launches the updated wizard for sharing a ConstructionOnline Report via Message, Email, or Cloud File Storage. 
• Financial Reports consistently and accurately align with the user’s Time Zone Settings, taking into account the UTC offset to correctly date the report.
