ConstructionOnline Publish Report for the Week of March 16, 2026

The ConstructionOnline Team remains dedicated to optimizing performance, expanding capabilities, and introducing cutting-edge new features to its award-winning construction management software. This week's updates introduce User Mentions in Comments, along with targeted improvements to Time Tracking, Invoicing, Meeting Minutes, Scheduling, and more. 

COMMENTS

New! User Mentions are now available within ConstructionOnline's Comment threads. Typing "@" followed by a name allows users to tag specific team members within the conversation, directing important questions, updates, or action items to the appropriate people. 

• Key features include:

  • All Comments and My Mentions tabs 
    
    • The Latest News section of the platform now includes All Comments and My Mention tabs, along with a "Clear All" option in both. 
  • Mention Notification Setting
    
    • A dedicated Comment notification setting ensures users are reliably alerted when mentioned, with email notifications always active and text notifications available to enable or disable based on individual preference. 
  • Default Mention Contact List
    • When creating or editing a Comment, the available contact list defaults to Company Users, helping keep internal communication within the project team. 
      • If a ClientLink™ or TeamLink™ Contact is already assigned to the Comment, that contact will also be available in the mention list. 

TIME TRACKING

• Time Summary Reports now display accurate Total Overtime amounts, ensuring dependable payroll and reporting data across all time entries. 

INVOICING

• Invoice Email Notifications now redirect users to ConstructionOnline upon selecting the View in ConstructionOnline action, providing seamless access to live project and financial data directly from email. 

MEETING MINUTES

• Meeting Details now reliably save all edits made to Agenda Categories, Agenda Items, and Action Items directly from the Details View, supporting accurate and up-to-date meeting records. 

PAYMENT APPLICATIONS

• Payment Application activity is now captured within Project and Contact Timelines, providing a more complete view of financial progress alongside other project activity. 

PROJECT TEMPLATES

• Project Template Detail Links now navigate directly to their targeted features, ensuring smooth access to connected project information directly from the Details view. 

PURCHASING

• Removing a Vendor or Subcontractor Contact assigned to a Purchase Order no longer prevents Bill creation. The Bill Creation modal now prompts users to specify a new Contact before continuing. 

ONPLAN™ SCHEDULING

• Schedule Baselines now load based on the most recently selected Baseline. If that Baseline has been removed, the system now defaults to the most recently created Schedule Baseline. 

TO DOS

• To Do Subtask Notification Emails now include the name of the parent task within the email's detail section, providing clearer context for recipients when reviewing and acting on assigned work.

AGENDA VIEW

• Agenda Widgets now include a Resource column, expanding visibility across the following widgets: 

  • To Dos
  • Punch Lists
  • Checklists
  • Change Orders
  • Submittals
  • RFIs

COMPANY REPORTING

• Estimate Status Reports now display consistently, with the correct Private Name shown for line item resources and improved formatting to prevent Unit Costs from wrapping beyond their designated fields.
