ConstructionOnline Publish Report for the Week of March 30, 2026

Continuous improvement is the foundation of ConstructionOnline, and the ConstructionOnline Team remains committed to optimizing performance, expanding capabilities, and introducing innovative new tools to its award-winning construction management software. This week's updates introduce Line-by-Line Bid Comparisons for Bid Packages and Percent Margin Markup in OnCost™ Estimating, along with targeted improvements across Files, Opportunities, Purchasing, and more. 

BID TRACKING

• New! Line-by-Line Bid Comparisons are now available for Bid Packages, giving estimating teams a powerful new way to evaluate competitive bids side by side and make faster, more informed award decisions. 
  
  • Within the Compare Bids tab, selecting a cell in the Bid Sheet column opens the bid sheet to a detailed comparison view. 
  • Bidder columns are arranged alphabetically, with bidders who have set a Will Not Bid intention excluded. The view updates in real time as bids are edited, awarded, or intentions shift. 

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING

• Percent Margin Markup expands markup flexibility for Estimate Subcategories and Items, giving construction professionals greater control over profit margin targets. 
  • Percent Margin can be selected as a Markup Type directly in the Estimate table or set as a default in the Item Defaults tab of Estimate Settings.
  • Existing tax and markup calculation settings are honored when calculating Percent Margin totals, ensuring accuracy across all configurations.
  • Percent Margin markup is supported system-wide across:
    • The Estimate table
    • Excel exports and imports
    • Reports
    • Invoicing
    • Purchasing
    • TrueVision™  
    • Payment Applications
• Estimate exports now reflect updated Invoiced and Paid Amount calculations, replacing prorated values with totals that account for both historical and current Invoices.
• Estimating Templates now export with accuracy across both Export for Reference and Export for Import options, enabling teams to share and reuse Estimate data with greater ease.

FILES

• My Files and Company Files load their respective data as expected, ensuring users always access the correct file set. 

• The Download All Project Files option captures all Project Files, ensuring reliable data exports in every instance.

MESSAGING

• When sharing a ConstructionOnline Report via Messaging, users can now attach files from cloud storage and ConstructionOnline in addition to uploading directly from their computer. 

OPPORTUNITIES

• New Opportunities save consistently as intended and only save as templates when the "Save as Template" option is explicitly selected.

• Deleting an Opportunity now removes all associated To Dos from the platform.

  • Opportunities created from a Project Template may inherit To Dos from the template, which become accessible when the Opportunity is converted into a Project.

PAYMENT APPLICATIONS

• Non-Admin Company Users with appropriate permissions can now reliably access Payment Applications, ensuring necessary access to critical project financial data. 

CLIENTLINK™/ TEAMLINK™ PORTALS

• Last Login Dates are recorded accurately each time a ClientLink™ or TeamLink™ user accesses the Portal, providing a reliable and up-to-date view of user activity within the Contact Details.

• The Project Name in the top navigation bar updates accordingly when navigating between Projects in the Portal. 

PURCHASING

• The Purchase Order Wizard has been optimized to streamline loading capabilities with specific attention to instances where users are working with Multi-Line Change Orders containing a large number of line items.

• Purchase Orders can now be created from scratch even when no Estimate exists in the Project, streamlining purchasing workflows regardless of Project stage.

CO™ MOBILE

• New! Invoicing is now available on the ConstructionOnline mobile app, giving teams the ability to view and track Invoices from anywhere.
