ConstructionOnline's Redline Takeoff now includes the powerful new Joist Measurement Tool that streamlines Takeoff workflows and eliminates manual counting. This intelligent tool automatically calculates joist quantities across complex shapes—saving time and reducing errors on every project. 

• Flexible Measurement Shapes - Define an interval and let the tool auto-calculate joist placement. You can work with virtually any floor plan configuration using:

  • Freeform Shape 
• Customizable Joist Direction - Set joist direction to match framing plans with options for:  
  • Vertical 
  • Horizontal 
  • Custom Angle - Perfect for angled or non-standard layouts
• Smart Spacing & Material Length Calculations - Optimize material ordering & usage and reduce waste with customizable options for: 
  
  • Spacing: Define precise distance between joists for accurate quantity takeoffs
  • Minimum Length: Automatically calculate multiple joists from longer stock materials
  • New Material Length: Configure how shorter pieces and remainders are counted

• Access & Permissions
  • Takeoff is available for companies with active subscriptions at the Team, Business, and Enterprise levels. 
    • For all other plans, the feature is available as a Per-User Add-On. 
  • To access the tool, Company Users must be assigned one of the Company's Takeoff Licenses.

ONCOST™ PURCHASING

• Users can now duplicate Purchase Orders, Bills, Expenses/Receipts, and Payments, streamlining financial workflows and reducing repetitive data entry. 
• Improved report generation ensures that Bills, Payments, and Expenses/Receipts consistently populate with complete and accurate financial details. 

CHANGE ORDERS

• Paid and remaining values display correctly across the "Change Orders Overview" section.  
• Users can now add new Costbook line items when editing existing Change Orders without workflow disruption. 

COMPANIES

• The right-click functionality for Contact Companies now works as expected in all instances.

INVOICING

• The "Company Overview" loads as intended in all instances, even in instances where no Change Order Invoices are present.

NOTIFICATIONS

• "Assigned as Resource" email notifications and SMS messages successfully send when resources are assigned to Schedule Tasks. 

PUNCH LISTS 

• Punch List Reports now print consistently in all potential configurations. 

QBO INTEGRATION 

• QuickBooks Online (QBO) imports run reliably regardless of whether a QuickBooks line has an associated product or service.

RFIs

• Excel exports for RFIs  accurately apply Status breakdown filters, ensuring data reflects the latest project information. 

CLIENT SELECTIONS

• Purchasing actuals import as expected into Selections, maintaining alignment between budgeted and actual costs.

TO DOS

• Subtasks are no longer duplicated when completing a To Do from the To Do blade menu. 

MEETING MINUTES

• Agenda Item due dates appropriately and accurate account for time zone conversions.

PERFORMANCE

• Improved speed and performance across Costbooks, Certificates, and Contacts, delivering a smoother, more efficient ConstructionOnline experience.
