Expanded Payment Application Options Offer Greater Visibility and Control in Construction Billing

Construction Payment Applications Software | Compatible with AIA Payment Application Forms G702 and G703 | UDA ConstructionOnline

ConstructionOnline™ has recently introduced several new enhancements to Payment Applications, adding new options that give construction professionals greater flexibility in how they manage, review, and submit payment documentation.

Payment Applications Added to Agenda View

Payment Applications can now be incorporated directly into ConstructionOnline's Agenda View, giving project teams a consolidated view of upcoming and outstanding payment activity alongside other current project activities. For teams that rely on the Agenda View as a daily command center, the addition of the Payment Applications widget here means that payment milestones and application deadlines are no longer siloed in a separate module—they're a part of the broader project picture and can be prioritized accordingly.

Cleaner Payment Application Exports

When printing or exporting a Payment Application, ConstructionOnline now allows users to exclude line items without an assigned dollar value. For projects with detailed Schedules of Values, this option helps produce leaner, more readable documents—keeping the focus on work that's relevant and eliminating unnecessary information. Tthe result is a more streamlined Payment Application that is easier for project stakeholders to review and understand.

AIA Form Compatibility with Print Overlay

For organizations working on projects that require use of the official AIA payment application forms, ConstructionOnline can now generate a version of the platform's built-in Payment Application that is designed to be printed directly onto the official AIA G702/G703 forms.

Rather than generating a complete standalone document, the Print Overlay produces a document containing only the associated data, precisely formatted to align with the fields on AIA's standard print forms. This allows construction teams to leverage ConstructionOnline's Payment Applications while continuing to use established AIA documentation workflows. For contractors who have previously had to re-enter data from their project management software into AIA forms by hand, ConstructionOnline's Print Overlay function closes that loop entirely.

Now Available in ConstructionOnline

Together, these enhancements strengthen ConstructionOnline's Payment Applications by improving visibility into billing activity, simplifying document preparation, and supporting a wider range of project and owner requirements. From day-to-day payment tracking to formal AIA billing workflows, construction teams now have greater flexibility in how payment information in managed and presented throughout the project lifecycle.
