• Users can assign drawings to specific layers and toggle layer visibility as needed.
• Hiding a layer automatically hides all associated drawings, keeping workspaces clean and focused.
• Layer controls are conveniently accessible from the Redline drawing modal.

Lock Markups for Added Control & Accountability

The new ability to "lock" construction drawing markup empowers users to secure individual Redline updates, minimizing the risk of accidental changes or deletions.

• A "lock" checkbox is now available in the Markup Details blade.
• When a markup is locked, all editing options—including repositioning and point adjustments—are disabled.
• Company Admin Users retain the ability to unlock any item, while Non-Admin Company Users can only unlock their locked markups.

Erase with Precision Using New Freehand Eraser Tool

Redline now includes a robust Eraser Tool designed to selectively remove unwanted portions of freehand or highlight drawings.

• Activating the Eraser Tool changes the cursor to a circular target, adjustable in size via an “Eraser Size” slider.
• Erasing part of a drawing updates the markup in real time; erasing the entire drawing removes it from the project view.
• The Eraser Tool offers a fast, flexible way to clean up markups without starting over.

Magnify Tool Enables Detailed Zooming

The new Magnification Tool enhances on-screen review by allowing users to zoom into plan areas with pinpoint accuracy.

• The Magnify Tool is located next to the Multi-Select Tool in the Redline toolbar.
• While active, a magnified lens follows the cursor for immediate, detailed viewing.
• Lens size can be adjusted, and zoom level can be fine-tuned using Ctrl + Mouse Wheel.

Add Points to Shapes for Flexible Markups

Redline’s shape tools have been upgraded to support custom anchor point additions on rectangle and polygon markups.

• The new tool allows users to click and add anchor points, snapping precisely to existing shapes.
• Rectangles with added points automatically convert to polygons, unlocking greater flexibility for irregular markups.
• Visual feedback makes it easy to see and manage new points as they are added.

Streamlined Upload Wizard Enhances Planroom Experience

A complete visual refresh of the Redline Sheet Upload Wizard brings clarity and polish to plan processing.

• Updated animations provide better visual cues during plan processing and sheet number/name review.
• Enhanced preview and scanning controls simplify adjustments and speed up review.
• New toggles and navigation tools make resolving duplicate sheet numbers easier than ever.
