UDA Technologies is excited to announce the release of new, automated reminders for Submittals in ConstructionOnline. Similar to the updated reminder systems implemented earlier this year for ConstructionOnline Permits, Insurance, Certificates, and Requests for Information (RFIs), the new Reminder Settings offer users two core functions: the ability to manage custom email templates and the ability to set up automated reminders.
ConstructionOnline automatically provides 3 default Email Templates for Submittals:
- Submittal Response Pending
- Submittal Response Overdue
- Submittal Response Due Today
However, the new Reminder Settings allow construction companies to create and manage any number of custom Email Templates for Submittal Reminders. Customization options include Email Subject, Message Copy, Text Style and Format, Hyperlinks, and Custom Autodoc™ Fields. Custom Autodoc Fields automatically populate Email Templates with information sourced from the selected Submittal property.
Custom Autodoc Fields currently available for use in Email Templates for automated Submittal Reminders include -
- Contact Name
- Project Name
- Submittal Due Date
- Submittal Number
- Submittal Title
In addition to managing custom Email Templates, companies using ConstructionOnline for Submittal management can now apply custom configuration to Automated Email Reminders. These updated options allow for users to define which Email Templates are sent in specific instances for Submittals. Companies can set up a variety of different Automated Email Reminders, and they can be easily managed with the simple On/Off toggle available for each reminder’s “Status.”
Custom configuration options for Automated Email Reminders include -
- Email Template
- Send Type
- Frequency
- Duration
- Internal and CC: / BCC: Recipients
To establish consistency and a familiar user experience, future projections included in the product roadmap for ConstructionOnline suggest that the new & improved Reminder Settings will be implemented across the platform where appropriate.
