New Columns and Layout Options Added to Request for Quote (RFQ) Report

Update to ConstructionOnline's Request for Quote Report | Construction Estimating Software | Construction Bid Tracking | Construction Management Software

UDA Technologies is excited to announce powerful new enhancements to the Request for Quote (RFQ) report in ConstructionOnline, further strengthening the platform’s industry-leading  Estimating tools. These updates introduce expanded data visibility and refined formatting options designed to streamline the quoting process and deliver more precise, professional RFQ documentation.

Expanded Columns for 3-Level Estimates

The RFQ report now includes six additional display columns for users working with 3-Level Estimates:

  • Room
  • Phase
  • Group
  • Type
  • Trade
  • Stage

These columns are now available as optional fields within the RFQ report’s Display Columns section. When enabled, these data points appear between the item name and the cost breakdown columns (Qty, Unit, Unit Cost, and Total Cost). The newly introduced fields provide teams with greater flexibility when organizing estimate data, improving clarity and context for vendors receiving RFQs.

Improved Report Orientation Options

In addition to expanded column controls, users can now choose between Portrait or Landscape orientation for their RFQ report output. This new formatting flexibility ensures that longer or more detailed RFQs are easy to read and professionally presented.

Portrait mode remains the default orientation, however, when five or more columns are selected for display, the system will automatically generate the RFQ in Landscape mode to accommodate wider data layouts and maintain optimal readability.

These enhancements ensure that even complex estimates can be clearly communicated to subcontractors and vendors, eliminating confusion and supporting more accurate quoting.

Smarter, More Customizable Reporting

With these updates, the RFQ report in ConstructionOnline™ becomes even more versatile and user-friendly. Whether refining bid packages or issuing detailed requests to trade partners, the ability to filter by Room, Phase, Trade, and more empowers teams to produce meaningful, organized reports that reflect the structure of their project estimates.
