New Insert Delay Feature Available for OnPlan™ Schedule

Improved Schedule Management with New Options for Tracking Schedule Delays on Gantt Chart Construction Schedules | Construction Scheduling Software | Construction Management Software

ConstructionOnline™ recently released a new Insert Delay feature for OnPlan™ Schedules. The new Insert Delay option allows users to select a start point and duration for project delays so that all of the construction schedule Tasks, Groups, and Milestones after the delay start are shifted to the delay end—keeping the relative position of construction schedule elements intact.

Users can access the Insert Delay option in two ways. When working from the Gantt Chart, users can right-click on the date of the delay start and select “Insert Delay" from the dropdown menu. This will open a visual interface on top of the schedule where users can click and drag demarcations to adjust the delay start and delay end. Additionally, users can Insert a Delay through a modal found by clicking the gray three-dot menu at the top right of the OnPlan™ Schedule and choosing “Insert Delay” from the dropdown menu. This will open the modal in which users can input delay duration details.

Trusted by more than 850,000 construction pros across 75 countries, ConstructionOnline™ is engineered to streamline schedule creation, maintenance, and analysis.
