ConstructionOnline™ continues to expand automation, financial flexibility, and everyday project efficiency with a new service integration on the horizon and targeted enhancements across Estimating, Invoicing, Punch Lists, Purchasing, and more.

SERVICE INTEGRATIONS

Coming Soon: Zapier Integration

ConstructionOnline is preparing to launch a new integration with Zapier, opening the door to automated workflows built around ConstructionOnline activity.

Once available, users will be able to create Zapier workflows that use ConstructionOnline triggers and events to automate connected processes across supported applications.

Internal review is complete, and the integration has been submitted to Zapier for final review. Customer availability will follow pending Zapier approval.

ONCOST™ ESTIMATING

• Expanded Classification Markup Controls: A new option within Estimate Settings gives users greater control when applying Classification Markups, allowing changes to target either all items within a Classification or only items that already have Classification Markup applied.
• Reliable Resource Copying: Copying and pasting Estimate Items now carries over all associated Resources.
• Persistent Subcategory Updates: Changes made through the Subcategory Details modal now save consistently after reloading.

INVOICING

• Expanded Print Options: Invoice and Payment print wizards now include an option to display linked Purchasing records within the Estimate section, including additional Bill Items and linked Labor Expense Items.

PUNCH LISTS

• Improved Performance for Bulk Updates: Punch List performance has been optimized to support faster, more reliable editing across multiple Items and Item Issues.
• More Efficient Loading: Improvements to Attachments, Comments, and background notification processing help reduce load times and support smoother large-scale Punch List workflows.

CHECKLISTS & PUNCH LISTS

• Expanded Import Support: Checklist and Punch List imports have been improved, including additional support for legacy data files.

ONCOST™ PURCHASING

• Streamlined Labor Expense Payments: Payments automatically created when Labor Expenses are marked as paid now retain any Estimate links associated with the original Labor Expense.

QUICKBOOKS ONLINE

• Improved Validation: New alert notifies users when Purchasing records being sent to QuickBooks Online contain unnamed items, helping prevent incomplete accounting data from being transferred and ensuring records are accurate before data syncing is completed.

COMPANY REPORTING

• Faster Change Order Selection: The Change Order Proposal wizard now loads Change Orders based on the currently selected Project, improving performance and making report setup more responsive.
• Reliable Selection Book Images: Selection image thumbnails now display consistently within the Selection Book Report.

RFIs

• Accurate Waiting Status: The Waiting widget and Status filter now consistently display the correct RFIs and counts, excluding overdue and draft records from Waiting results.

TEXT EDITOR

• Enhanced Editor Performance: Performance optimizations help reduce timeouts and support a more reliable document editing experience.

LEAD TRACKING

• Accurate Activity Attribution: Changes to Lead Status are now consistently and accurately attributed to the Company User who made the update within the Lead Activity Log.

NOTIFICATIONS

• Updated Change Order Emails: Change Order email notifications now deliver consistently to eligible Non-Admin Company Users based on their assigned feature and project permissions.

CLIENTLINK™ / TEAMLINK™ PORTALS

• Reliable Daily Logging Photostream: The Daily Logging Photostream is now available consistently through ClientLink and TeamLink.
• Improved Resource Visibility: Checklist-related Resources who are not assigned Key Roles remain hidden from Portal users while continuing to display for Company Users.

PROJECT TEAM

• Complete Related Project Lists: Projects listed as Related Project when accessed from the Project Team page now display all applicable projects for the selected Company User.

REDLINE™ PLANROOM

• Simplified Layer Selection: The Layers dropdown within Markup Details now loads and functions consistently.

MESSAGING

• Improved Conversation Loading: Messaging performance has been updated to support consistent access to existing conversations.

MISC

• More Locked Columns: Dynamic Tables now support up to 8 locked columns, expanded from the previous limit of 5.
